Kicks in Muay Thai

You can advance to the punching bag after you get a certain level of expertise and experience and practice. The punching bag can be rather challenging, since it is not a static or predictable target. If you are beginner, keep your foot high, because the bag is softer there. The lowest spot is where it is hardest. You can injure yourself if you are not used to that. Also wear ankle socks if you do not wish to get the skin there darkened from constant contact with the bag.

Learn to play with the bag, moving and anticipating its swing. This can further help you with your co-ordination. More on the kicks later, as I take them up individually.
