Dips: the body-builder
Dips must be part of your training. Doing them right is also very essential. Dips make your upper body very strong. The breath capacity also improves.
The wrong way to do this is by using arm strength. The right way to do it is to use your upper body, your chest muscles, to pull you up and down, as you dip. The right alignment of the body is so crucial for doing this. Move the torso ahead when going down -- this involves those muscles we were discussing.
Once you have mastered the technique, you can challenge yourself by doing the one-armed dip, the dips on your knuckles, etc.
And important: keep your eyes looking ahead. This makes it more challenging:)
