Wrist-work: extreme push-up!

Yes, this is carrying preparation for Muay Thai to another level altogether. Here you place the back of the hands, at the wrists, on the ground, for a push-up. I don't have to tell you where the scrunch (pain) will happen!! Your wrists have to be cracking healthy to be able to do an effective punch.

Like I keep saying, while all the rest of the exotic stuff and moves with Muay Thai are exciting in themselves, when push comes to shove, it is a good punch and a solid kick which will see you through. And this sort of preparation, which takes the strength of the wrists to another level, by challenging them so extremely, is necessary if you want to be a true fighter.

However, do not attempt this, till your basics in push-ups is already strong. And of course, your wrists need to be in super shape too.

You need tremendous upper back, core and leg strength to be able to do this... work on these too, simultaneously.

Aspire for the stars, with your punches and kicks..
